About Course

The Better Box Academy Back End Developer Course is a 12-week live, immersive program designed to equip learners with the practical skills needed to build, test, and deploy robust server-side applications. Students begin by mastering the fundamentals of backend development, including HTTP, RESTful API design, Git version control, and working with databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL. Through hands-on labs and mini projects, they quickly move from beginner to building full CRUD applications with user authentication and secure environment management.

As the course progresses, students dive into more advanced backend topics like API optimization, asynchronous programming, unit testing, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) workflows. They also gain real-world experience with containerization using Docker and cloud tools like AWS or Firebase. A major emphasis is placed on collaborative coding, with team-based projects that simulate real development environments and workflows.

In the final month, students apply everything they've learned by building and presenting a full-scale capstone project. They also receive job readiness training through mock interviews, code reviews, and resume workshops led by industry professionals.
